Providing Health Services: TJSL PTDI Consistently Serves the Community Through Free Health Checkups
Bandung (July 10) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) program conducted free health check-ups at the Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) RW 03, Governor’s Residence, Cijagra Village, Bandung, specifically targeting the elderly (senior citizens). This is a regular agenda of PTDI’s TJSL program and PTDI Clinic, held every three months. The program is always eagerly anticipated and provides tangible benefits for the local community.
On this occasion, approximately 70 elderly individuals received health check-ups, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. The examinations were conducted directly by the medical team from the PTDI Clinic, accompanied by private consultations with doctors and healthcare staff.
“This activity is a concrete manifestation of PTDI’s TJSL commitment to building harmonious and sustainable relationships with the community. We believe that a company should grow alongside its environment, not only economically but also in terms of health and social well-being,” said Kerry Apriawan, Manager of PTDI’s TJSL program.
This health check-up program has become an important part of strengthening social relations between PTDI and the residents of Cijagra. Many elderly people now regularly check their health because they find it easier and more convenient with this service. One resident, Mrs. Yuli (55), said, “We elderly people feel helped; we don't have to go far to get a health check-up. Thank you, PTDI, we hope you can always help residents like this.”
Based on data from the Posbindu Cijagra self-assessment survey, over the past five years, RW 03 in Cijagra Village has recorded a relatively high prevalence of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and gout—particularly among the elderly population. In response to these findings, PTDI is committed to continuing this initiative as an early intervention to address the risks of chronic diseases and potential complications.
With a spirit of sustainability, PTDI will continue to develop social programs that directly address community needs, in line with the values of state-owned enterprises to bring about equitable development and greater freedom for all Indonesians.
